Inductance has the capability to convert electrical energy into magnetic energy and store it in components.  As one of the three fundamental electronic components, inductance is extensively utilized across various fields such as computing, consumer electronics, communication equipment, and other areas within the electronics industry, where it plays a crucial role.


Inductors are typically mass-produced;  however, traditional manual methods for assessing appearance quality prove inadequate.  Most existing testing equipment on the market employs glass disks, which present numerous limitations that hinder significant improvements in detection efficiency and accuracy.

To address this issue, Guangdong Quandi has developed Sptec visual inspection equipment designed to assess both dimensions and surface defects of inductors, thereby significantly enhancing production efficiency and shipping quality.


Inductance Detection Requirements

During the manufacturing process of inductors, various defects may arise including damage, scratches, cracks, poor terminal connections, contamination by foreign bodies or dirt exposure of copper windings. It is imperative to maintain stringent quality control during inspections to eliminate defective products from entering the market.



Solution
The solution comprises: 1 set of SIPOTEK visual inspection software; 1 custom industrial computer from SIPOTEK; 1 PHILIPS 19" LCD monitor; 6 Barsler industrial cameras; 6 SIPOTEK custom camera adjustment modules; 6 FA high-definition optical industrial lenses; 6 custom optical adaptive light sources; 1 professional optical glass carrier; a PANASONIC servo motor along with additional Panasonic components; a SIPOTEK customized control system; and PLC motion cooperation with Panasonic systems.
